What Are Lash Extensions?
Lash Extensions are a glamorous new way to extend the length and thickness of natural eyelashes and are a practical, convenient and beautiful alternative to the daily use of mascara.
How Long Do They Really Last?
When properly applied, Lash Extensions can be worn throughout the year with minimal monthly maintenance. Touch ups are recommended after the initial full set application to refill any lashes that have shed. Most clients schedule touch up appointments every 2-4 weeks.
Can Lash Extensions Harm Natural Lashes?
Our priority is the health of the natural lash. When applied properly, Lash Extensions will not harm natural lashes. The application technique allows natural lashes to grow and thrive with extensions. The technique requires several different separation steps during the application process so each extension is adhered to a single natural lash in order to prevent interruption of the lash growth cycle.
Can Mascara Be Used With Lash Extensions?
Mascara is typically not needed with Lash Extensions. Mascara should only be used when a touch-up is drawing near. Water-soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of lashes.
Can I get my lash extensions wet?
Yes. Eyelash extensions are meant to fit seamlessly into your lifestyle and this includes getting them wet. In fact we encourage clients to get lash extensions wet daily and keep them clean. We explain how to properly clean them after the initial full set application.
Why does Blink include a complimentary follow-up appointment?
We believe this is a unique beauty service and a form of facial artistry. We want to check in with each and every client to see how they are enjoying and wearing their new lash extensions.
The follow-up appointment is completely optional but at Blink we feel this addition really sets us apart in the industry.

How do I care for my Eyelash Extensions?
Care and proper maintenance is important for longer lasting, beautiful lashes!
For best results follow these simple steps:
After 24 hours it is important to wash lash extensions daily. We make it easy and simple! By just using water and combining a small drop of baby shampoo, lashes will be clean and free of dust, pollen and pollutants. Using Q tips helps with this.
The spoolie brush given to you by your lash technician helps your lashes maintain a neat and fluffy appearance. Use once a day to lightly brush lash extensions.
Avoid using oil based products on or near your lashes. This includes hair products which contain high oil content.
STEAM, EXTREME HEAT and EXCESS SWEAT should be kept away as much as possible from lash extensions.
Common Examples:
Facials - Keep moistened pads on eye area throughout entire process.
Showers - Hot showers are fine! Be aware not to let water from shower head spray forcefully on lashes.
Steam rooms/Saunas - Not recommended.
Working out - Wear a headband. Keeping excess oils away from your eye area is always best.
Ovens, Grills, Dishwashers - Be sure to turn away when opening.

- Avoid rubbing, pulling and playing with lashes- This will cause premature shedding and may damage your natural lashes.
- Remember - The less you do to your lashes, the longer they will last. If you are constantly putting the wrong products on, off and near your lashes, the adhesive will break down and cause extensions to shed prematurely.
